Russell Gosling

Head Brewer at Little Creatures Fremantle (Lion)

Introducing Russell Gosling Head Brewer at Little Creatures Fremantle (Lion) and has been with them for 20 years. Holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Brewing & Distilling Science from Heriot Watt University. I did conquer the IBD Master Brewer Module 1 circa 25 years ago, and then life got in the way – namely, Peter Ward, moving halfway around the World, having two Children – let’s just say, my studies have been on an extended sabbatical! Passionate in giving back to an industry I love — one that’s supported me and my family since I joined the CIBD in 1997. I may not know exactly what I can offer, but I’m committed to contributing time and effort, to help drive meaningful outcomes.
Since joining the beer industry in 2007 at a small brewery in Tasmania known as Moo Brew, I consider myself lucky to be part of such an amazing industry. My love for hops went next level in 2014 when I moved into hop supply and gained experience in all facets of hops, from the farm to finished beer. Currently, the Yakima Chief Hops, Regional Sales Manager for Australia. Also, the Independent Brewers Association (IBA) State Chapter Lead for Tasmania.

Narelle Lukasik

member of the QLD CIBD committee

I started in the brewing industry in 1999 at The Swan Brewery in Perth as a Technical Officer. From there, I moved into packaging as a Team Leader, which gave me a solid grounding in large-scale operations and team leadership. In 2004, I transferred to XXXX as a Keg Line Team Leader and spent a couple of great years enjoying life as a Queenslander. After taking some time out to travel and raise a family, I returned to XXXX in 2015. I completed my Diploma in Brewing through what was then known as the IBD. I have been a member of the QLD CIBD committee for the past three years and have enjoyed bringing people together from across the brewing and distilling industry for education, networking, and social connection. I’m currently a Brewing Team Leader, supporting the team to brew great beer every day.
